2002 Toyota Sequoia SR5 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 4A)

Review

This is a great SUV! I really like this truck, but here are things to keep in mind. The third row is great for hauling around extra people, but when the seats are in use, I can barely fit my baby stroller in the cargo space. This car has a a huge blind spot! The rear 1/3 of the car! As long as you are aware it's fine. The clock is too low! Those are my only complaints! I really like the car!

Best Features

Drives well! Seats lots of people! Very comfortable for traveling!

Worst Features

Install the 110 outlet like in the avalon! It is great for traveling with kids! Better gas mileage! Raise the clock so passengers can see.

Review

I love this truck. I have had an Explorer and a Jeep Grand Chereokee (I loved the Jeep much more than the Explorer). I must say, I adore this truck much more than anything. Very comfortable. HUGE! Drives like a car. Very user friendly seats. Does off roading quite well. Much nicer inside than the Durango, and a nicer ride than the Durango or Yukon. Very refined.

Best Features

Large, user friendly, versatile interior seating! Drives like a car, yet with plenty of utility and off road capability. The drive is superb.

Worst Features

Could use a bit more power. Tires (Dunlop Grandtex) are a bit cheap--Ill replace these for sure. Gas mileage...but thats obvious for a truck of this size. I get an average of 15 mpg...but it takes 87 octane, so thats a huge plus!

Review

All I ever heard in the Toyota is higher in Quallity and Resale value then domestics. I like to really drive my SUV as a SUV. Bought this truck just because everyone including Edmund rated it highly. Just driving the Toyota on mostly smooth dirt trails, I have had to have all CV joints re-lubed twice. I have needed to be pulled out of soft sandy soil that my friend with 2wd Tahoe drove straight thru.
