    Did you or anyone else get any help with this?? My 2002 Sequoia compressor just bit the dust. Dealer says yes the TSB's are out but no recall. They may help with the cost. That would be a blessing. Even though if Toyota knows of an issue such as this, they should recall.

    This truck appears to be especially unsympathetic with lower grade tires. My second set of tires (Cooper brand) on my 2002 model are starting to look shabby with 30k on them. Once they begin to wear unevenly, due to a poorly balanced tires or poor alignment, you're in trouble. Be sure to find a tire store with an especially good reputation with truck tires, not just cars.     You need to call the 800 for Toyota customer service and they should be able to tell you if your car is affected by the recall. That is, if you bought the car new from a dealer, the Toyota central services database will have all of your owner information and VIN #.     The bug shield is made by "Formfit" and can be purchased at Carson Toyota in CA. If I remember rightly, Edmunds policy forbids me from posting the phone number. You'll have to "Google" it. They'll ship it to you. Installation was not difficult and it's nicer than the OEM "Toyota" bug shield.

    my 2002 sequoia has the same hummmig buzz noise ....Toyota says it's normal... It is an actuator that is causing the noise.. take it to dealer make sure car has MORE than 1/2 tank and it has been running for about 1 hr so you can reproduce problem for them
