2001 Toyota Sequoia SR5 2WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 4A)
First of all to be fair to Toyota, I
have brought 4 Toyota vechicles, and
all had been perfect, but the Sequoia,
it has been a nightmare. 1st- problem
2sets of brakes and rotors. 2nd-
Traveling in Florida on vacation and
transmission made a clunk sound
several times, then all of the sudden
the truck dies out on the freeway the
transmission needs replacing 20kmile.
3rd- At 30kmiles engine light comes
on, need a catalytic converter.
Comfortable ride on trips, superb
steering ratio, and easy to park the
full size vehicle.
One of Toyota biggest complaints, is
they have very conservative wheel
accessories, unlike GMC Denali, but I
notice they jazzed the wheels up on
the 2003 models and added Borla
exhaust, and last to many plastic
fixtures in the interior, I have about
5 broken pieces.
