On my 2008 RAV4 with 5000 miles on it I have recently - in last 2 months - been getting a yellowish brown oily stain on the right rear fender panel - same side as the tailpipe. I have to wash it off with soap and water but in a day or two there it is again. The longer I leave it the worse it gets. ..did a 13 way compario between a bunch of new SUV models (so some models like Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 didn't get to compete) and in the end chose the 2008 Forester as the winner. I'm in the same boat. I want the limited with the same options as you only my first choice is the blizzard pearl (which is 200$ extra). Lowest quote so far is 28,676, then there is a 1000$ rebate( in PA) so final 27, 676 + tax(NYS) and tags. The rebate is a Toyota rebate so they aren't losing on that. Hi nova92. The money factor that you were quoted is right in line with Toyota Financial's buy rate for a 36 month lease of this vehicle in its New York region this month. That is a good thing. Many thanks for your feedback kriebebw. I didn't take the $500 rebate opting instead for the 0% financing for which I'm pre-approved. As for the other Toyota dealers, the sales guys I've met with are even more pushy, aggressive and condescending. Same has applied so far for Toyota dealerships I've called around Austin, TX. IMO...That it is WAY too much money. You did not indicate if your offer included rebate money. Even if $1000 that would have brought you down to $26400. I can't speak for the KBB information but I do know that Edmunds data was accurate except that it does not include cost for Toyota Dealer Advertising (TDA) which is approx. $450 dpending on where you live.
