    My 2007 RAV4 V6 airbag light stays on after I drive for about two miles. Dealer says that error code is not under warrenty. There is an airbag recall out there, but dealor says it's not for this problem. Anyone out there have experience treating with Toyota for warrenty service on a major safety issue such as airbags?

    Toyota will tell you no, however, if you go to a facility which specialized in mobility impairment modifications, they can do it. I had the seat shifted 3 inches back. I believe they had to fabricate a new bracket and reused the original mounting holes. Total cost was about $550.

    Don't abandon ship yet. Other manufacturers with the "new adaptive drive" software have the same issue. The computer gets confused....Have them wipe it's memory. I have them do it everytime I have my oil changed. Maybe it's time to look for a bulletin online. My dealership didn't know about the front passenger leak bulletin for RAV-4s...I found that myself online and brought the number in with me. Good luck!

    I had wind noise around the right side front door just above the rear view mirror area when I bought our new 2007 Rav4 in Feb 07. There was a bulletin from Toyota about this. There was a baffle or something like that that was needed to be installed inside the rear view mirror housings. I had my dealer do this and it seemed to fix it. Hope this helps.

    Be sure and ask for a copy of all (4 to 5 page list) the C-BEST options that are available, and ask for an understandable, US humankind understandable, explanation of each. There are at least 3 now that allow you to configure the climate control system more to your liking, SAFETY, and management needs.

    I don't think they offered this when I purchased my Rav 4, I will tell you I don't think I would buy another Toyota product. I have 27,000 miles and need new brakes (mostly highway miles) Also it feels as though the trans is starting to slip when I go around corners. I expected more from my 2007 Rav 4. My paint is HORRIBLE!

    i found the problem. It's a groove at the bottom of the passenger's rear view mirror. Try put some duck tape over it...i did and the noise is gone. What a relief! Good luck shastro
