I first fell in love with the RAV4 in
1996, but it has taken me this long to
convince my husband to buy one (he's a
Corvette guy). The interior is very
spacious and comfortable, especially
considering its small overall size.
It's fun to drive, has great pickup and
lots of room to carry everything from a
large TV to our two big dogs. It's fun
to take to the beach and very easy to
clean out the sand.
The radio controls on the steering
wheel help me keep my eyes on the road.
The larger sized engine for 2004 has
great pickup for merging into traffic,
even impressing my Corvette loving
husband. The grocery bag hooks in the
back help keep everything in place.
When it's raining, I get dripped on
getting into the driver's seat. Saturns
used to do the same thing and have
since been modified. Also, tumbling the
back seats forward is easy, but not so
easy to put them back.
