Rav4 base model 2wd 4cyl
Purchased Rav4 this weekend. My sister referred me to Camelback Toyota. Sales person named Mohammid, not sure of spelling name correctly. No hassle, which what I wanted. Researched cars and it lead me to Rav4. Test drove and finished the deal under 2 hours. Was not sure about 4 or 6 cylinder. After driving 4, I felt it had enough power for me. There is a $500 incentive ... Read More...
Re: RAV4 Limited 4FW V4 [eljatul]
I'm in southern Oregon and I "worked with" dealers throughout Oregon and some in Seattle. I had the same experience as you are having. When I talk about invoice price, I mean the true invoice price, verifiable on Edmunds and in other places--NOT the phony invoice price the dealers claim and email you. Also, my costs included no processing fees, document fees, ... Read More...

Re: New Rav4 V^ Sport Pricing Help Needed - Long Island [vliu13]
Vliu , In me experience the ealry Ravs did not have the Q packages . On the Fitzmall site the early cars had all the options listed individually. I think when Toyota saw they were having a problem selling these cars they started the Q packages and the sticker said $2000 discount on it . If you check the Vin numbers, I think any car without the Q package is a very early build ... Read More...
Re: New Rav4 V^ Sport Pricing Help Needed - Long Island [vliu13]
The first 2009s taht were shipped did not have the Extra Value packages QY QZ etc, If you go to the Fitzmall site you will see ( If they have not been sold ) similar ( MSRP) cars with a $2000 invoice difference. It said $2000 promotion on the stickers of the early Extra value cars . I thought that all the later build cars had some kind of extra value package . If you look back ... Read More...
Re: 2008 Toyota RAV4 4-Cyl AWD Limited [ravanip]
FYI. I just purchased a 2009 Rav 4 V6 Limited with moonroof, backup camera, leather, everything but Nav, PLUS mudguards, winter mats, cargo net, the extra mats for $28,172, out the door with tax plates $30,100. I also keep my vehicles for a long time. Remember it's a 09 not an 08 and also a V6 not a 4 cyl, which is a difference between the V6 and a 4cyl of about $2000. Hope ... Read More...
RAV4 - 2009 4-cylinder vs 6 cylinder
no title
My wife and I bought an 08 V6 RAV4 4x4 Limited last summer for her to haul the kids around town. It will never travel more than 100 miles from home (that's what the Yukon XL's for), but I just didn't see the point of the 4-cylinder. The mileage is basically the same. The V6 transforms this modest cute-ute into a sleeper. That thing accelerates faster than a 2000 Mustang ... Read More...

Re: Toyota Dealerships [Nixcar]
> We were offered an ou the door price of $26,745 for 2009 Rav4, 4 cyl, 2WD, Extra value pack #2, Nav system, leather. Invoice on this car according to Edmunds, not including TTL, is $25540, with TTL (in my state anyway [MA]) would be around $26,900. So it looks like you want it for almost $2000 under invoice. Even in the current market, I don't think this is realistic ... Read More...
Mazda CX-7 v Toyota RAV4 v Honda CR-V
Re: RAV4 V6 vs. CX-7 [Sporin]
My first experience with the RAV4 was test driving it in a V6. I was impressed with its power to the point where it had me questioning why would Toyota put this much power under the hood of a compact SUV. Considering the gas mileage is almost identical to the 4 cylinder, I thought perhaps it was not worth even test driving the 4 cyl. However after some thought and analysis, ... Read More...
