    Another thing to think about. The Tax credit for EV or PHEV is based on the capacity of the battery. Volt was designed to get the maximum credit or maybe the other way around.     When I use any brand of gasoline with Ethanol in my 2008 Prius with 8000 miles, the mileage decreases to about 37 mpg. With non-Ethanol fuel I average between 48 to 52 mgg. Is anyone aware of any fuel that does not come from the Middle East that does not contain Ethanol?

    That is pretty cool for sure. They would make great premium rental cars for Florida and Hawaii. I wonder how they re-routed the high voltage cabling. My understanding is that Toyota did not add a Moon Roof because of the cable in the top. Maybe that was just someone's opinion.

    nycprius, I think that should be about $400 below MSRP assuming that it only has #5 and none of the other port or dealer adds. An even better deal if it does have extras. Good find right now!

    2008 Corolla weighed about the same as the 2009 Yaris. They all wear similar-sized shoes as 2008 Prius. The 2008 Prius weighs more than the 2009 Corolla. 2009 Corolla's shoes are wider accross the range.     Tell Toyota to shove it. $300 is about right and it will be the equivalent of what it came with. Make sure the top is tinted if your original was. If you show Toyota the estimate, they will correct their mistake and do it for $400. They probably send it out to be done, sometimes to the same guy.

    When I purchased my 2008 Prius w/.pkg.#5 from 355 Toyota in late december, I do'nt remember the invoice price. However, I paid $2400 under msrp, almost 10% off. How that relates to dealer invoice, I'm not sure. The price was at least 1200 better than my best quote prior.
