'Nother sub-par car.

Vehicle
2012 Toyota Prius c Two 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
Probably the WORST car I've ever driven, and not worth the $10k compared to the Yaris! The Yaris is both faster, snappier, and costs way less. Calculated, you'd have to drive the Prius C 20 years over 10K miles, to gain back your money on gasoline (@$4/GAL), add a mandatory $4000 battery change every 8 years, and you'll never get out of the cost! Don't buy!

Suggested Improvements
Ridiculously overpriced, small trunk space, expensive parts in the motor, ridiculous slow acceleration (even in performance mode, and forget eco mode; at full throttle, it accelerates just a tiny bit above average acceleration with a normal car), can't even begin to imagine about it's performance on the highway, hard suspension, hard seats, cheap interior, cheap looks inside, bland flavorless/designless interior (aka dashboard toyota corolla-like), 25MPH max speed for battery-driving (most rural areas require 30-35MPH, so aside from driving in a parking lot, it doesn't make any sense to drive so slow); So yesteryear design (toyota did not improve looks like all the other brands did).

Either this person own a prius c (1) or you did not negotiate a good price for your car. I have to disagreed with the driving confort. The car is smooth and very confortable in the city as long as your roads are smooth. If you live in the country with pot holes well, this car is not for you. When it comes to value, it all depends what kind of car you had before. See I am saving $240 a month now with this car, that sounds like really a lot of value to me. I have level (4) and it does look much better than the entry level. Multiply $240 x 5 and you will see what Im talking about. My insurance is also $400 less a year. To me it is more fun than the regular prius. I do agree with you the the exterior design, specially the rear could have been better. But I wasn't looking for power or showing off the car but saving gas money. Hopefully other people could do a better review on this car.

This review is so full of wrong information, where to begin? The drive feel is of course subjective. Not everyone has to like it. However, the Yaris is not less expensive but comparable and is a very good car, no doubt. The Prius C does get about 14 mpg average higher than the Yaris which as I stated is also a good mileage car. Imagining the Prius c's performance on the highway is not really a very effective argument as is evident in the comments made by those who actually own and drive the Prius C. The seats are extremely comfortable, the interior of the higher priced model is much more visually pleasing than the less expensive model but the lesser price offers the ability for more people to purchase this exceptional car. Driving in electric mode is automatic and kicks in under 40mph which is wonderful offering even more mpg's (also so very quiet and smooth it is amazing). The Yaris is a great car and so is the Prius C, suspension is equivalent as is the fun to drive factor. Enjoy your Yaris, and I will enjoy my Prius but when providing a review it generally is a good idea to actually drive the vehicle in a residential as well as freeway situation. Imagining how a vehicle can drive is really not helpful to those wanting an unbiased review.
