After reading the (current) 21 posts, I have to agree this is the best truck ever. I bought it new in 1990 and have never done anything other than periodic service checks (every now and then). By comparison, my 2004 Chevy Avalanche has been in for repairs at least 4 times in the past year (window motor, fuse box, tailgate lock!, front end axle wear); my Toyota has never had a problem with these or any other item (that I didn't directly cause myself, that is).
Interior design and comfort for 6'3" me.
More galvanization in the body panels (still not bad for a 19 year old truck).
I bought this truck brand new and
have had no major problems with it
in over 13 years and 260,000 miles!
It is even on the original clutch (it's a
5 speed and I'm a woman ) I love it
and don't want to ever give it up!
It is comfortable for long drives and
the back seat is useful for carrying
passengers as well as stuff. It has
all kinds of handy storage places that
are hidden from view. The drink
holder is placed so that it can cool or
warm according to need.
If it would get 50 miles to the gallon it
would be perfect!
