2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder 2dr Convertible (1.8L 4cyl 5M)
I purchased a MR-2 Spyder about 10
months ago. It's a great car, as long
as you know the limits and know what
you are doing. Handling is TOP notch,
very very fun car to drive - you always
feel quite connected to the road.
Accelleration good but not
spectacular. Storage space is really
really small. Great car for weekends
and commuting/errand running - but not
a good choice for large grocery runs...
Handling, breaking, exterior styling.
Excellent top operation - takes only
second to drop or raise top, I've even
been able to raise top from inside
vehicle. Glass rear window a HUGE
advantage in this class.
Touch more leg room would have been
nice. Adding another 8 inches to the
car for storage space would be good
too. Slightly larger/more-powerful
engine would have been nice too. Only
available (stock) radio was anemic,
replaced it almost immediately and was
much happier with results.
