Fun, Fun, Fun!

2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder 2dr Convertible (1.8L 4cyl 5M)
Drivers area in S2000 and Miata were
too narrow; no room for left elbow.
Ample elbow room in my 2001 MR2.
Contrary to what you have read in some
reviews, you do not have to get out to
operate the convertible top. Cargo
space is indeed limited, but we two
have adjusted and have no complaints,
even on long trips. Smooth and stable
up to and over 100 mph.
Every time I am out people stare and
ask questions wanting to know what it
is. The fact that there are so few of
these is the best feature. If you
enjoy unique cars and attention, this
is the car. Light weight and nimble
come in a close second.
Padding for armrests, easier way of
cleaning rear drains, must turn radio
off before you shut down car or you
lose mid-range control on re-start,
left and right rear visibility poor
with top up.
