2005 Toyota Matrix XR Fwd 4dr Wagon (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
I downsized from a Ford F150 Super Cab, and haven't missed it. My fuel bills have been cut by 2/3. I'm 6'4" and surprisingly fit very comfortably, even with our family of 5 in the car. It's a lot of fun to drive, especially with the manual transmission.
The seating; it has the feel of an SUV. Great handling, with good ground clearance, and no trouble passing at highway speeds in this 1.8L with 5 speed manual transmission.
Sleek styling is very cool, but it takes a little getting used to looking out the rear. The windows are very high and slim. Highway mileage is more like 30-32 MPG verse the advertised 36 at 80 MPH freeway speeds. However, the 30 MPG city is easy to attain by keeping the RPMs below 3000.
