Built to Last

Land Cruiser Owner for 20+ yea, 02/20/2021
2019 Toyota Land Cruiser
Just test drove a 2019 Land Cruiser. I purchased a 1999 used Land Cruiser in 2000. It has been my most reliable vehicle. I've heard cars are the worst investments. Not true of the Land Cruiser. The newer versions aren't "fancy" with bells and whistles like Apple Play etc. But the vehicles are flat out RELIABLE! My 20 year old vehicle costs me oil changes, brakes every few years, … tires every few years....and that's it!!! My mechanic has told me several times, this is one of the best engines Toyota made so it will last forever. The vehicle still looks good, runs very well and is comfortable. I've had other vehicles over the years (German and American), and yet the only vehicle that remains is my Land Cruiser. I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer version (2019), but since absolutely nothing is wrong with my 1999, it's hard to pull the trigger for a new one. You will not be disappointed with the quality, handling, longevity and reliability of this vehicle. She will NOT get stuck in snow even if you tried. Amazing. I'm at 255,000 miles....original everything (except routine battery, brake pads, rotors, tires). Maybe at 300,000 miles, I'll finally upgrade to a newer Land Cruiser. She needs to be in a Toyota commercial. Test driving the 2019 I realized the quality is still there, the handling is still great and it felt overall like a great vehicle.
