I have a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 4.5L/V6, with 190,000, with a bad Oil Pan Gasket. Dealer wants $750 to repair. I would like to do myself, but am unsure exactly what to expect. If you have any advise, including special tools required, difficulty of job, etc. please provide. Thanks!

I am in the process of getting a 1997 LX450 with full locker system!! Anyway, a few quick questions: 1. Axles...are they full-floating?? 2. Lockers...are they clutch-type or mechanical (like Detroit)?? 3. Any particular weakness that i should look for when buying it?? (aka radiator, leaks, etc.) Thanks in advance. Apparently, this LX is very well cared for...no off-roading.
