1996 Toyota Land Cruiser 4dr SUV 4WD

Review

A little surprised at the maintenance
costs. Bought this vehicle used at 78k
miles. At 86k the catalytic converters
had to be replaced, along with front
knuckle seals. Fortunately, the dealer
covered the converters under warranty.
But the front knuckle seals were
$1200! Now VSV valve is bad -- cost
$400+.

Best Features

Size, tough appearance.

Worst Features

Fuel economy, emission system reliability? Power. Interior legroom.
