2012 Toyota Highlander Limited 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
I bought this car to upgrade out of my Camry, tried to see if Toyota could still impress me. This was a great SUV, great visibility, great features with NAV system, back up camera, JBL sound system, leather seats, heightened ride. The way it was drinking gas at 20-21 mpg was horrible and in the end a deal breaker
Poor cruise control, wanders upto 7 mph on moderate inclines where other vehicles don't.
Poor Bluetooth connectivity to smart phones
Strange SatNav, picks strange routes which are not the fastest when compared to Garmin.
SatNav dies down after more than 4 hrs of continuous use with Bluetooth enabled phone connected
Even the top of the line Limited version doesn't offer one-touch all windows
The transmission operation is not optimized for fuel efficiency. Anything more than a gentle touch on the accelerator pedal causes high rpm upshifts.
Fuel tank is small, causing much frequent fill ups in city driving.
Cheap graphics on speedo/tach
Keyless entry often fails
