2010 Lexus RX350 residual, lease factor, comparison to Venza

I got this from a local dealer. 2010 RX350, FWD, 3yr, 12K miles.yr, is 59% residual with a money factor of 0.00235 (multiply by 2400 to get APR). For 3yr lease, 15K miles/yr, the residual is 57% with the same money factor. For a 4 yr lease, 12K miles/yr, the residual is 50% and for 15K miles/yr the residual is 48% with a 0.00235 money factor, I test drove the 2009 Venza ... Read More...

I would get the oil changed between 4 and 5000 miles. Look at your service book for recommended intervals . Follow the book or find them online at toyota.com/owners. Some dealers try to sell increased "visits" and I don't think you need to do that. Just follow the book. :) Read More...

When I got my 2009 Highlander Sport, the only choices were 2WD and full time 4WD. That's all that was offered and all that appeared in the brochures at the dealers. Some sales people or perhaps some reviewers may have mistakenly referred to the 4WD as AWD but Toyota itself has only called it full time 4WD on the 2008 and 2009 Highlanders(and apparently on the 2010's ... The 2009s were available in 2WD, 4WD and AWD. I see now that Toyota's website only inlcludes the 2WD and 4WD for 2010. Why was AWD discontinued, and should I care? I go skiing up in the Sierras and was hoping to buy AWD. Read More...

I've never seen a 2008 or 2009 Highlander with anything other than the 245/55 19's than came on my 2009. However, I never looked at a Hybrid so I'm thinking that perhaps at some point Toyota was using the 255 size on the Hybrids only. Certainly is curious though. Read More...

This is odd; both my brother and I bought new 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrids; him in late 2008---and mine a holdover (2008) that I bought in 2009, BOTH OF WHICH HAVE THE 255-55R-19 at original equipment. The Toyota website has finally changed the Highlander information over from the 2009 Highlander to the 2010 Highlander. But, they did NOT do a thorough job. When you try to price the 2010 Highlander, the page still says 2009 Highlander. But, since the prices supposedly are the SAME for both years, that should not be a problem. Read More...
