2005 Toyota Highlander Limited AWD 4dr SUV w/3rd Row (3.3L 6cyl 5A)

The Highlander drives as beautifully as the 6 Camrys we have owned over the last 20+ years. Five-passenger seating is as spacious and comfortable as our'02 LXS Camry; the 3rd seat is great for 2 carseats. The side and rear windows are large enough to reduce blind spots in all directions, interior road noise is minimal, and the flexibility of an enlarged cargo area with rear seats down make antique- shopping trips a pleasure! We are retired so we drive fewer miles than when we were commuting, but still enjoy the high quality of a Toyota.

Best Features

Steers and parks like a Camry, V6 power and all-wheel drive and control, all- round visibility, beautiful JBL sound system, front and side airbags and side airbag-curtains, 12 cupholders, multiple electric outlets and stowage compartments, excellent quality inside and out.

Worst Features

Our fuel usage is higher in the V6 Highlander (17-24 mpg, compared to 23- 31 mpg in a 4cyl Camry), but that is to be expected in a larger vehicle.
