2010 Corolla LE
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I love my new Corolla! I average 36mpg. I really searched for a car with great mpg that was affordable too. The LE has all the features I wanted. The radio is good, interior is roomy and comfortable. Excellent choice! Toyota really does a great job making cars for petite people! Thank you!
Favorite Features
MPG! Radio, Ipod hook-up.
Suggested Improvements
Move the clock up to eye level.

Seems just fine so far
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
So far I am enjoying the new Corolla. My last car was a 2000 Subaru wagon that died an untimely death; with only 170K I was hoping to get at least 8 more years out of it. However, the LE is far more luxurious than the Subaru. It seems to handle well despite the narrower wheelbase, the mileage (averaging 40MPG) is phenomenal & the car reasonably versatile for a sedan. The car has decent pickup (important in insane Atlanta traffic) and is stable on the highway. It's very comfortable on a long commute (anywhere from 35 minutes to three hours), & I can pack two Goldens and a Labrakita in it with ease if I have enough stinky tuna treats.
Favorite Features
I like the mileage indicator (such a cool idea!), the tilt and telescopic steering wheel (I am short-waisted and very long-legged), the fold-down seats, and the interior storage. I like the car's pep and ability to "scoot" out of trouble.
Suggested Improvements
-More durable fabric for the seat covers, that does not attract & trap every piece of fur on the dogs. -Move the clock to a dedicated spot on the display. -The design & smaller windows.
Steering

2010 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
Wow, I thought it was just me but reading what others say the steering is kinda weird. I hate the small sun visors and not much tint on the window. We did get leather seats and the touring package which was added by the dealer. I think the car is low to the ground and I prefer my Quest over this any day. Not much leg room in the back to my liking, but great for kids. It's perfect for commuting not much else. The sound system is okay, not the best.
Favorite Features
Leather seats
Suggested Improvements
Tinted windows, better head rest, bigger sun visors with an added one for driver. Better cup holders in the door, light in the glove compartment and make it one compartment with a lock. Brighter lights inside. Better sound system.

Best Car I Own
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla XRS 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
When deciding which car to have secondary to a 2010 Camaro, (which isn't that fuel efficient) I always thought about getting a Corolla. After test driving an "S" model, I realized some improvements needed to be made in the power-steering sector as well as in the overall power. What the "S" model couldn't deliver, the "XRS" did. With the 2.4L engine, I could actually feel more power when accelerating which was surprising @ 158 hp, as well as the designated "European Tuned Suspension and Steering". The car is a great choice for people who want a deceivingly powerful compact sedan that is fuel efficient and delivers a great ride. The only cons are the left footrest & a mediocre interior.
Favorite Features
Comfortable with leather seats, sunroof is nice, great power, and impressive steering response.
Suggested Improvements
Redesign footrest and other interior features.

2010 Toyota Corolla S 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
We bought this car after our 99 Ford Taurus was eating up our bank account. Overall my wife and I love the car, we drove the Civic and the Sentra. The Toyota had the best ride and options for the money. This car takes the bumps very well. As far as mpg after 3 weeks we are getting 22 mpg. My wife mainly drives the car and she is only 7 miles from work. We drove the LE and didn't like the interior - very plain, not a lot of options. The S model has a lot of nice stuff in it. Does not come with floor mats! 130.00 - that's outrageous.
Favorite Features
Heated mirrors, good pick up for a small car, lots of room in back for adults, moon roof is a good touch, warning chime when emer brake is on. Fog lights are good.
Suggested Improvements
The steering does wander a bit - feels like you are not on the ground, should have reg rack and pinion for a small car feel. Doesn't feel sporty when driving, while driving if you are cruising, and take your foot off gas trans downshifts and feels like you are driving with the e/brake on.

Traveling FL guy
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla S 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I traded my car in while traveling to Maryland. After all the dealer tried to pick pocket me, I ended up pick pocketing them. I got the car for right at the TMV price and it's awesome! The car seems to drift to the left a little not sure if it's the crown in the roads or what. I am now in Maryland and nothing is flat here so hard to tell if the alignment is off or tire low. Great car, mileage is close to what sticker says. I averaged 80mph and got 35-36 mpg. I love the fuel economy.
Favorite Features
Love the display features for fuel economy and more. The interior and feel is amazing, an absolute luxury car but no one knows unless you buy one.
Suggested Improvements
Just the clock placement could be better and a few more DC outlets.

XLE - Cushy Smooth Quiet Car Commuter
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla XLE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
There are several cars to choose from if you still want to sprint on city streets, race in-out of lanes on the freeway and drive canyon roads, but most/all are very noisy, rougher riding, less refined overall and get low mpg. If you want a very quiet, smoother-riding, high mpg commuter or cruiser, at a reasonable price the XLE is a great choice. The engine/auto trans is silky smooth and pulls away from a stop smoothly, not with a jump. With windows closed, auto climate control-set, and your favorite music playing thru the JBL system, your music mutes on incoming/outgoing calls over Bluetooth linked to your phone, controlled by steering wheel controls. A nice ride in a smaller car.
Favorite Features
Interesting alloy rims with wider tires dress-up a pretty plain exterior. Very quiet, with only a whisper of wind/road noise. JBL Sound/XM Radio/Integrated Bluetooth and steering wheel controls is first rate. Automatic Climate Control is comfy. "High-end" interior colors/fake wood.
Suggested Improvements
Height adjustment on passenger seat to avoid that sitting-in-hole feeling. Navigation-standard. Increased straight line stability by changing suspension geometry. Turn-signal lighting on outside mirrors.

40 MPG and very pleasant to drive
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla S 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
This was a Cash-for-clunkers deal. My former car was a loaded 91 Cadillac, so you might imagine an awkward transition, but I love it. The car is quiet, accelerates well enough, easy and pleasant to drive. The S in a dark gray, clearcoat, with tinted windows looks pretty sharp, not that much different than the little Lexus. First drive of 200 miles on the highway hit 40.7 MPG! I get 30 around town. Seats 4 adults very comfortably. Fold down back seats added versatility. Sound system is quite adequate with the 6 speakers. For the price, and I really shopped around, there is nothing I could find to match with such fuel economy. No hint of the weird steering issues others mentioned.
Favorite Features
It is just pleasant to drive. I got a fairly loaded model with automatic and power everything, but no sunroof or enhanced sound system.
Suggested Improvements
The pump adjustment on the seat height was odd. A power seat for the driver would be nice, but I guess if they made it too fancy they would call it a Lexus.

2010 Toyota Corolla
Vehicle
2010 Toyota Corolla S 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
Traded with cash for clunkers . Looked at Mazda 3 , Honda Fit, Toyota XB. Came back to the Corolla. Trunk good size for small car. Quieter then cars in its same class. Agree with others about the clock being moved to radio and the left foot rest is poorly placed. Great commuter car and the S model is very sporty .
Favorite Features
Mileage, quiet for a car in its class.
Suggested Improvements
Move clock to radio, adjust left foot rest. Re-engineer steering.

2010 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I recently bought the 2010 Corolla in July, and I am amazed with the fuel efficiency. I just took my car into the dealership for its first oil change. The dealership informed me that a recalled part had to be replaced in my car. When I drove my car home, I noticed this high pitched noise coming from the left front end. The noise occurs when I accelerate, especially at speeds greater than 60mph. I also notice that it occurs when I'm in cruise control. When I took my car back, they couldn't figure out the problem, even after 3 test drives. They initially thought that wind was causing the noise, so they replaced some molding. I still hear the noise.
