Toyota Corolla Prices Paid and Buying Experiences

Re: 2009 Corolla S price [rosiek]

FYI....S, atleast in New England, has a 1750 rebate, as opposed to the 1000 rebate fro LE. As a result, you could possibly get an S for about $200 (or maybe even the same) more than a similiar equipped LE. OTD price means different thing in different states b/c of taxes and fees, so where are you located? The incentives are very similair to what they had 2 months back, ... Read More...

Re: What else changed? [samnoe]

Bluetooth comes with the JBL stereo. You can't even get factory bluetooth with nav. Adding clock to the radio or somewhere else with a dedicated display needs to be done. Some of the things you listed like 8 way power seats are not going to happen, but the clock is a simple fix they should not ignore. It is outrageous where it is now. The location of the clock did play ... Read More...

Toyota Corolla Paint Problems

Re: Toyota Corolla Paint Problems [missfittoy02]

Sorry, I do not own a 2009 Corolla, I have a 2005 S with no paint problems that I can see. I also have a 2008 Matrix XRS which seems to be okay so far. Sorry to hear about this problem. Perhaps it is regional depending upon where the car was manufactured. They (Toyota) no longer use the lead based paint, so that or the lack of the proper hardeners may be the cause of this issue ... Toyota Corolla Prices Paid and Buying Experiences

Re: 2009 Corolla LE

I just went to the toyota dealership Bob Rohman in IL. I told a sales person about the pricing quotes and the prices people are getting here and he wouldn't even budge below 16,800 which isn't what I would go for in a LE without any addition options. I was kinda disappointed and left. Oh well. He said that he makes no money on Corollas or Yaris unless he sells a certain ... Read More...

Re: Bought 2009 Corolla LE in Cincinnati, Ohio [hot5red]

hot5red, I bought it from Kings Toyota in Kings Auto Mall, Cincinnati. The dealer is very pleasant. Her name is Jeni Wheeler Jeni_Wheeler_10853@kingstoyota.responselogix.com .For a well-equipped LE MSRP $18314 or $18545, start your negotiation as "Out the Door" price with taxes, titles, etc. $15.8K or less without any trade-in. Stick to your price and ... Read More...

Re: 2009 Corolla LE [tarron06]

Makes sense....also it's VERY competitive here in MA. I literally have atleast 10 Toyota dealerships within a 50 mile radius and 3 of them are VERY big dealerships with high volume. What perks are you getting? Does it come with car mats? Read More...

Re: 2010 Corolla S auto headlights [airboss]

Congratulations on the purchase of her new 2010 Corolla. I think your the first 2010 poster. Keep us informed on how you/she likes the new for 2009 EPS steering. It should be interesting to see if Toyota retuned this steering for 2010 due to the number of complaints they received about it's roaming phenominum. Best of luck with the new car; I'm sure she will just ... Read More...

Re: 2009 Corolla [samgreen]

college rebate counts as a down payment . So....it does not go in as a discount, but as an extra $1000 (if it is still $1000) on your down payment (so the $1000 is taken off the post tax amount...also known as OTD amount). Also remember that if you buy a new car, you get to claim the taxes you paid at purchase at the end of the year for this year. If you go and get the student ... Read More...

Re: Reply: Vibration 2009 Toyota Corolla - Brand New [newby8]

Tight lug nuts would not explain the vibration you feel when stopped, but it could be a cause of vibration while moving. Actually any kind of wheel/tire mis-balance could cause vibration while moving, and it is usually easy to correct with a proper balancing. However, you stated you feel vibration while idling (stopped). Does it feel the same or different from ... Read More...

Re: Reply: Vibration 2009 Toyota Corolla - Brand New [Bakka]

Thanks for your reply. I have seen some other posts where the tires and/or tight lug nuts were the cause of their vibration. Where I also have some vibration when idleing, I agree that it sounds more serious. Maybe I have a tire AND some other issue going on? Read More...
