I had a corolla but sold it this Feb. Is ther any way I can get this loyalty discount if I don't have the offer sent by mail? The dealer said they need to have a paper offer from Toyota credit for this discount. Are there any other incentive for 2009 corolla besides the 1000 rebate and 1000 for college graduates? I am looking for a reason to get 300-500 lower. Your suggestions ... Read More...

I have a dealer in Orange County, CA who offered the 2009 Red Toyota Corolla S model w/ Automatic Transmission for the following price. Is this a good price or should I ask him to lower it more. FYI....S, atleast in New England, has a 1750 rebate, as opposed to the 1000 rebate fro LE. As a result, you could possibly get an S for about $200 (or maybe even the same) more than a similiar equipped LE. Bluetooth comes with the JBL stereo. You can't even get factory bluetooth with nav. Adding clock to the radio or somewhere else with a dedicated display needs to be done. Some of the things you listed like 8 way power seats are not going to happen, but the clock is a simple fix they should not ignore. It is outrageous where it is now. Sorry, I do not own a 2009 Corolla, I have a 2005 S with no paint problems that I can see. I also have a 2008 Matrix XRS which seems to be okay so far. Sorry to hear about this problem. Perhaps it is regional depending upon where the car was manufactured. They (Toyota) no longer use the lead based paint, so that or the lack of the proper hardeners may be the cause of this issue ... I just went to the toyota dealership Bob Rohman in IL. I told a sales person about the pricing quotes and the prices people are getting here and he wouldn't even budge below 16,800 which isn't what I would go for in a LE without any addition options. Makes sense....also it's VERY competitive here in MA. I literally have atleast 10 Toyota dealerships within a 50 mile radius and 3 of them are VERY big dealerships with high volume. What perks are you getting? Does it come with car mats? Read More...

college rebate counts as a down payment . So....it does not go in as a discount, but as an extra $1000 (if it is still $1000) on your down payment (so the $1000 is taken off the post tax amount...also known as OTD amount).
