the 2009 corolla had the TSB on a possible excessive use of oil under certain conditions. toyota's answer for this was to reflash the ECU. it has been theorized over at toyotanation that the only way this would help with the oil consumption problem is by detuning the engine, resulting in reduced hp and/or reduced mpg. since all the 2010's had the updated ecu programming ... This price just does not sound real but I believe you I just mean to say that @ $15,156 that puts you @ 13% below invoice WITHOUT DEDUCTING YOUR $500.00 REBATE. Normal Toyota invoice is 8%-ish. My question is why is nobody else selling 2010's for that same price? Is your deal on a 2009 perhaps? I have a friend that runs a Toyota dealership and on a $18190 "S" I can get it ... Read More...

Oh great so since i live in california but frequest cold states my car will not be recalled?? I would really love to know how they don't recall them for everyone?? My 2009 corolla was built in the US and had the radio replaced right away because it was freezing up and then my brakes were replaced at 10,000 miles, completely down to damaging my rotors. I've had my 2009 corolla for a year now. Ever since we've had it, at 30-40 mph the rpm's will all of a sudden DROP from a100-500 rpm's and then it will shoot back up. (usually around 1400-1100) The car will feel like it is wanting to die on me or like I have hit a road of tar. When we first got it, it was horrible. Almost impossible to drive at 30. I also recently purchased a 2010 Corolla. I booked an appointment with the Toyota dealership service department in regards to poor radio reception. They checked the antenna & wiring, no problems. Well, the whole thing has been checked out by the selling dealer and just as my local dealer says, the condition is normal. I tried another car and it is exactly like mine, so I guess they are right. My offer for a Corolla LE 2009 standard OTD price was 16,500 CASH . They claim was that their invoice price was 16,700. So with taxes, fees, etc it brings it so somewhere above or below the msrp of 18,500K. Total BS much? an 09 not even the '10 After looking at this site, I am disappointed.
