LOL especially when you try to complain to Toyota USA about this issue they will tell you the same thing they told me "nothing wrong with the vehicle it's your driving habit's".. I have a 2007 Corolla (bought new) which has so many issue's it's unbelievable, and I have a tilt wheel that I cannot use etc., etc., etc.. I have filed many, many lemon complaint's on this ... you can bet that if a 6 year old hyundai platform kept pace in sales with a brand new honda or toyota platform, backy would have been screaming from the rooftops to let us know about it. The only people I see screaming from the rooftops here are Toyota employees who rave about all the positive aspects of the Corolla and quickly shove aside any not-so-great aspects. ... Read More...

" the corolla in 2007 does have more fleet sales than the civic, but still still sold retail almost the same amount with a 6 year old platform that every one and his brother called old, outdated, tired, boring etc...over the new and improved ... I bought a new 2007 Corolla in 5/2007 and it has been a lemon since the getgo.. I have filed many, many complaint's on this car and have gotten negative responses from Toyota USA and with the lemon law.. Can't fight the big business.. All Toyota Corolla's are made at the NUMMI factory in Fresno Ca., this factory is in the middle of a whistleblower lawsuit for ignoring ... Read More...

The road tests is where they determine the practicality (at least as compared to competing cars) and they do use reliability (user surveys) and safety (crash test results) as major parts of their rankings. Bought a new 2009 Toyota Corolla LE. Right after I drove it from the dealer lot, there are a lot of rattles at the front dashboard, even if there is a tiny bump on the road. It's really distracting. You know, my '98 came with tilt wheel, but I never move it. I mean, it's just nothing I deal with.
