I bought my corolla new in 2004. She was totaled a little less than a month ago with 130+ miles on her. I believe I replaced the tires maybe 2 to 3 times in the 7 yrs I had her. The brakes I replaced once in 2006. I never had to put her in the shop for anything other than usual maintenance. I had 1 battery replacement in 2010. I would recommend to anyone...very good car.

Bought this used in 2004 with 20k on it, since then I've only paid for routine maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The most reliable vehicle I've owned. If it wasn't starting to get to0 small for me I'd keep it forever.

Purchased new with 17 miles on Odo. Currently at 74K miles. The main electrical fuse blew once when car new cutting out all electrical. Replaced in no time by dealership. Car has never needed even a single repair since other than oil changes and new tires. Only two things will survive the end of the world. Cockroaches and Corollas. Seats not supportive for O/N driving. Otherwise nothing to complain, everything to applaud. This is what a car should aspire to be.

After researching many small cars
(Civics, Aveo) I found the Corolla.
First Toyota I've owned. Great on gas
mileage. Car is suppose to last as long
as a Honda. The only complaint I have
is the steering wheel is too far away.
I have to keep the seat up close to
reach the wheel. And I'm only 5'9".
Otherwise a good, practical car. Be
cautious of Toyota dealers. They have a
way of getting you a loan with a higher
interest rate. Ask first what thier
best offer is. A good dependable car is
good, but if the financing is not,
you'll loose a lot of money over the
long haul of a 5 year loan.

My parents bought me this car for my
16th birthday and it's been reliable
through in and throughout. It seats
four people comfortably and has HUGE
trunk space. At first glance, it looks
like a small car, but don't be
deceived. The Corolla is hardly a
monster car, but it's decent in size.
The air conditioning is good if that
counts at all as is the handling. It's
fun to drive, but then again, I'm a
teen. Driving is fun all around. The
Corolla's a little noisy from the
inside, but it's expected from a V4
car. All in all, you get a lot for your
