From a 95 Camry LE to a 2003 Corolla CE

2003 Toyota Corolla CE 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A)

I forgot to change the oil filter on my 1995 Camry LE for two years! Ouch! When it popped out, the damage estimate was $5000, so I came home with the new 2003 Corolla CE. What a joy to look at and to drive. My wife adores it. It doesn't have a blemish. We love the wind-up windows and the excellent all-round vision. Even the driving mirror is an improvement over the clunky, intrusive Camry mirror.

I just purchased a 2003 Corolle LE a week ago. I love it! The body style is awesome, making it look much sportier than in years past. It is excellent on the gas mileage and with a moonroof it makes the trip more enjoyable. Im use to driving a large vehicle with a lot of interior room, but this Corolla is very comfortable for its small size.

there is hype about new corolla, it is on higher end for economy car buying. compare to honda civil LX '02 automatic, corolla provieds less useful features. i m most disappointed that it doesn't come with cruise control std. and on top i am paying almost 1000 more new corolla. I just don't get it.

I almost purchased a Honda Civic, but decided to test drive the Corolla first - loved it instantly. Quieter and has a sporty look with a sedan feel inside. Try it!!!!

just bought car 2/25/02, but..... in love!!!!! i personally would have liked the celica gts engine in the corolla but this one sacrifices only a tiny bit of power for unbelieveable fuel economy. overall "10"

Praise... Toyota has finally brought a design engineer to the table for their lower priced vehicles; should also add a bit of spunk as well(did I hear Paseo?). Not sure why it took 30 odd years (240zx, 280zx, CRX, Civic, RX7, etc)but the compitition will be weeping

Fun with style

I just purchase this corolla and found it to be a joy to drive. The design change is exactly what Toyota needed for their ailing corolla line. The design resembles the Lexus IS 300 and the ES 300 class. The interior is spacious and luxurious. The exterior is sporty with great lines and quality. Some things I think Toyota could work on is to minimize the motor noise, increase the leg room for the driver, and increase the hp from the 130 to a more sportier 150+ for the S model.

Owning my corolla just a few weeks - I'm so glad I didn't go out of the Toyota lineup of cars and miss owning this gem of a vehicle. You can't beat the refined nature of this car with any other make and model in the same price range. It gets up and goes without a hitch, merges into traffic effortlessly, and it's easy on the wallet when it comes to gas! Toyota has hit a home run with the new redesign (in my humble opinion!)
