    What exactly is it that you need help with? I would just get my head down under the brake pedal and determine which of these two fixes is necessary. After this determination go to a dealer and pick-up the correct repair part. Replacing should be straight forward, just remove and replace the grommet or switch as needed.

    I bought a nissan sentra about 5 years ago and immediately changed the oil to synthetic. I have changed the oil religiously every 7-8 thousand miles with synthetic oil car runs great. I have 1995 chevy truck and a 2000 hyundai elantra which I did the same and all these vehicles run great.     Perhaps you should have listened to the Toyoa Technicians as there were many TSB reports issued concerning the Belt Tensioners on the 2000 up to 2006 Toyota Corollas. They should have offered to replace this $150 to $200 tensioner at no cost to you because of the warning of malfunction issued about your vehicle via the TSB..

    The car will be a year old 0n the 25th of this month. We live in North East Ohio and have had no problems withe AC or Heat. As a matter of fact we haven't had any problems with the car at all. I believe Toyota did a way with the timing belt in the late 90's or early 2000.

    I have a 2000 Corolla CE, It does not have ABS(anti-lock braking system). I need/want to know if I can have it installed. I have seen the diffrence first hand when braking in severe weather with and without ABS. So I would like to think I can get them installed. I don't care if I have to go through some special auto shop or take it to a toyota dealer.

    The automatic from those years was a 3 speed, instead of 4, so yes, the CE only gets 33 mpg. Now, all automatics have the 4 speed auto.

    The fuel pump doesn't have a prime. The repair manuals like haynes aren't right. Toyotas dont prime. The fuel pump should hold about 21 psi after shutoff so the engine can start easy. The fuel pump only runs if the engine is cranking or running. If you get lean codes, here are things to check:::: Fuel pressure, intake leaks, vacumm leaks, MAF sensor, ECM... Check those first.

    Tire pressure is either on a label in the glove box, or on the sticker inside the driver's door. My 99 says 30lbs front and rear.
