Ive had only two problems after two years. One was with the belt tensioner, and the other, some very faint rattles from revving the engine so high all the time. Replaced tensioner myself. I HIGHLY recommend replacing stock tires with P185/65R14 Yokohama Avid Tourings. Stock suspension is inadequately stiff, but fine for average driving. Acceleration is absolutely wonderful. I've smoked F150's, SUVs, cocky modified Civics and even a Mustang (not GTS). All in all, a very nice car.
Beautifully optimized engine, quality interiors, proven reliability, easy to replace parts, dirt cheap genuine parts compared to Honda and other makes, comfortable and quiet ride when mated with a set of new tires, one belt pulls all, an absolute joy to drive.
Better stock tires (2003's Goodyears still suck), stiffer suspension, more legroom in the back, more supportive seats.
