I have been waiting to buy this car for two years and I am not disappointed at all. It is everything I hoped it would be. I love driving my new car!

Favorite Features

The heated seats, the large back seat area, and driving with the top down.

The dash could use a little more flash.

I got the car in Sept of 06. Unbelievable feeling with the top down and power. Received a lot of looks. Very pleased. Last year that this car will be made. Buy it now. Solara will be gone forever!

I got my Solara three weeks ago and I am absolutely infatuated with it! It is so much fun to drive... really quiet engine, convient controls, great JBL audio system, & lots of compliments while driving! The rise is so smooth with nice acceleration when needed!

Favorite Features

One touch top down/windows down button, large trunk space (even when top is down), bluetooth wireless phone system, iPod plug in jack, roomie back seat, phone/audio controls on steering wheel, lots of storage compartments, etc!

Suggested Improvements

A bigger back window. When the top is up you have to be careful to check your blind spots... definitely not a deal breaker though!

Review

I have owned over 7 toyotas. This one is one of the best yet. It is a good looking, comfortable, fun car to drive. It resembles the Lexus SC 400 but much roomier. I have owned it since June (one of the first off the line). I've got just over 3000 miles on it and have not been back to the dealer for a single problem, perfect from day one. I am very satisfied thus far and happy I purchased it.

Favorite Features

Drop top for sure, 5th generation navigation, bluetooth.

Suggested Improvements

Easier boot for the convt top, built in would be nice. Lighted controls for convt top or relocate away from all down window switch. Rear window controls for rear passengers.

This car is so impressive to everyone that had a good look at my new car! It's a smooth ride all the way. Even when it is in park with the engine still running you cannot hear the noise. The stereo sounds is just so great. Everything about the Solara is awesome.

The bluetooth (cell phone) feature

Fun Car

Review

I had my choices narrowed down to a Camry XLE four cylinder and the six cylinder Solara Sport. The dealer was offering them both at the same price and I was leaning towards the Camry in my head and the Solara in my heart. I could not go wrong either way. I've had the Solara for a month LOVE it! The ride and handling are great and I really like the looks both inside and out. The power is great, but I also don't mind the DC rush hours when it is stop and go. I will recommend the car to anybody who asks.

Favorite Features

Performance and looks. Nice sized rear seat for the rare occaison that I need seating for four. Nice, big trunk for such a sporty car.

The Best of Both Worlds

Review

I have put about 3,000 miles on so far and they have all been fun miles. It rides like a luxury sedan but handles like a sports car.As sporty as this car is though, it is not a small car. It is extremely comfortable up front, has a very fuctional rear seat that two adults can fit in easily and comfortably and a very adequate trunk for a convertible, as large as many sedans of this class. These were all high on my "needs" list. It is quieter than I expected a rag top inside. It has very good acceleration and passing speed and the trans shifts flawlessly and effortlessly. I would recommend this automobile highly to anyone looking for the "topless experience" without sacraficing comfort

Favorite Features

Excellent road lighting with the optional headlight package, the Bluetooth phone feature and the navigation are very convenient, the ease and speed of the top opening and the "all windows" button make it easier to convert to rag-top mode, the "in steering wheel" radio & display controls are great

Suggested Improvements

add rear seat window controls to the driver's door control panel, move the roof and headlight angle controls so that they are no longer blocked by the steering wheel spoke and increase the rear glass size to help with rear viewing

Overall I am quite satisfied. There's nothing like a Toyota for dependability and style.

Favorite Features

The convertable roof, of course.

Suggested Improvements

I have trouble finding which switch is for the convertable and which is for the windows. I think a better solution for night driving is to have these switches lit. Otherwise one has to remember whci switch is which by feel, or open the door and do it with the overhead light ( mirror ) on.

Review

I purchased this car in lieu of the 4 dr Camry, it's so much sportier. Great handling. The trunk is HUGE for a coupe so I've got lots of room for shopping bags. The turning radius is awesome and it just glides over bumps in the road. The V6 has lots of power for get up and go. A must for Atlanta traffic!

Favorite Features

The instrument panel has a really cool look and the tilt/telescopic steering wheel are great features. I love the 6 disc/mp3 player compatability. I can plug my iPod in and jam all the way to work. I also love the sporty look.

Suggested Improvements

It would've been nice if the passenger seat was power adjustable.The passenger window auto feature would've been appreciated as well.
