Love that 40 mpg
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
In California I drove in more stop and go traffic and my mileage was 37 mpg on trips 40. Now living in Northwest and mpg has been 40 all the time until they just changed to the summer gas mixture. I have lost 1 to 2 mpg. A relative owns a 2005 Prius and she loses 2 mpg each summer also in Calif driving. It does not handle well in the snow if there is ice the traction control kicks in as soon as you start to slip so you can't use the gas to try and get out of it. It will need snow tires this next summer.
Favorite Features
MPG and very fast pickup when entering freeways.
Suggested Improvements
Less expensive winter tire and rim options that is the only reason performance is a 9.

Happy owner in Texas
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
I really like this car and it's the nicest car I've ever owned. It's very comfortable and very quiet and I can really relax in it. Excellent sound system too. Of course one of the main reasons I bought it was that it is a hybrid. A little over a year ago my wife and I passed a gas station sign (in our conventional Toyotas at the time) and the price of gas had headed well over $3.00 and we looked at each other and decided to look at hybrids. I ended up buying the Camry hybrid and she bought a Prius. Boy are we glad that we bought the cars with gas hovering around $4.00/gallon now!! We plan to keep the cars for as long as possible and we believe that in the end it will save us money.
Favorite Features
My favorite features: hybrid engine; engine usually shuts off when I come to a stop or am driving slower than 40 mph; CVT (very smooth); quietness of cabin; feeling that I'm doing something for the environment; automatic climate control; ride; fuel eco.; steering wheel controls; Toyota!
Suggested Improvements
Would be nice to have a bigger trunk, but I'm willing to live with it since the car's a hybrid. There's a slight "hesitation" every time the car comes to a complete stop that may be related to the transmission or the cessation of the gas engine. I'm not sure what it is, but it's barely noticeable.

My experience with a hybrid
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
Exceptionally fun car to drive. Extremely good gas mileage from 38 to 43 mpg on the road. Approximately 90% of the mileage on this car was highway miles. Has extended 100 thousand mile warranty on the vehicle and tires.

Mileage Disappointment
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
I have had my Camry for almost 2 years. The initial sticker on the window had 42-43 city and 37 highway. The actual mileage is 31 city and 38 highway. Since then the actual mileage on the 2008 and 2009 models is more realistic. Just had to replace 4 tires at 19,000 miles, after being serviced at the dealership regularly. This was another disappointment. The car runs well, but purchased it because of the anticipated mileage. The government credit did not turn out to be the full $2,600. When you complete your tax forms it says "potential" credit so beware of this. The $2,600 turned into $1,800. Otherwise a nice car, glad I purchased it with the gas prices currently at $4.00 per gallon.
Favorite Features
Roomy interior and very quite between 0-20 miles per hour.
Suggested Improvements
Tires, mileage, trunk very small compared to a regular camry. Should provide a regular tire for a spare and not a "donut" which you can only drive 90 miles max

600 + miles per tank
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
I'm old and slow on the freeway, rarely going over 70 mph. Thus, I've been getting 43/44 mpg to/from /San Diego/ Los Angeles. If I tell Toyota how much we're enjoying their Camry Hybrid, they'll raise the price!
Favorite Features
Mpg, bluetooth, six speaker sound system, hybrid gauges.
Suggested Improvements
Speed control should be moved to left side of steering wheel. Believe this has been done on 2008 model.

Fantastic Car!

2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
I have been driving my car for over a year now. This car still impresses me every time I drive it. The millage is incredible. I am averaging 36-37 per tank. I often hit 40 mpg on individual trips. If you are looking for a quiet car... This is it. It's smooth and quiet. No shifting. No sudden lurching. The only time you ever hear the engine is under hard acceleration. In fact, the propulsion system is so quiet I installed a backup alarm because pedestrians can't hear this car.
Favorite Features
Mileage! Quiet! Smooth power. Excellent sound system. Nice Bluetooth Phone system.
Suggested Improvements
1. The only thing I hate about this car is the fact that Toyota's lawyers restrict use of the navigation & phone system while the vehicle is moving. Basically the nav system is broken while the car is moving. You have to pull over and stop to use it. Buy a Garmin. It's cheaper & works better.

My TCH has been magnificent
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
I've loved my TCH. I bought it on 04/21/07, have just under 15,000 miles on it, with mileage at 36/39. I've had no build or performance issues. No rattles, squeaks, crunched bumpers, or any other concerns. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with the car. I love the quiet, smooth ride. The CVT, electric steering and gas pedal make this car just glide. The power and torque, when the internal combustion engine and electric motor combine, are more than a human needs.

Still loving it
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
Lived in California and drove more stop and go traffic mileage was 37 to 38 in town 40 on highway. Live in Idaho now and mileage is 40 to 41 in town and highway. Runs great, have 16000 miles on it. Have had no problems at all. Runs perfect, quiet and comfortable. Had difficult in the snow/ice in Idaho and will by studded tires for it next winter.
Favorite Features
Gas mileage is the best love the Barcelona Red also.
Suggested Improvements
Would of liked to have bought it in the new baby blue color but not avail on hybrid. I think if your buying a hybrid you should be able to have any color you want.

False Advertising
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
The sticker on the window advertized that the Hybrid would get 40 MPG city and 38 MPG highway. After checking many tankfuls of gas the best mileage I could get was between 22 and 24 MPG. This to me is totally unacceptable. I brought the car into 2 different dealers in North Miami and Hollywood for testing and they both told me there is nothing wrong with the car. Last week I drove to Gainesville where the car was purchased, to have them tell me the same thing. Nothing was accomplished except I put 660 miles on the car and I am still very FRUSTRATED. I didn't buy a hybrid to get 22 MPG. When I should be getting at least 40MPG promised by all the advertising and hype about hybrids.
Favorite Features
Everything about the Toyota Hybrid is excellent except the mileage.
Suggested Improvements
Mileage.

2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Hybrid 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
In first 18 months, this car has performed well, with excellent mileage, but I have been surprised to see a dramatic decline in the design and assembly quality that I found in my prior two Toyotas. The fuel economy is as good as other posters report (40-43 summer, 35-38 winter). Quality problems include incessant front dash rattles that the dealer cannot fix, no matter how many visits; cheap front and rear bumpers that crack as soon as you are touched by another car in a parking space; interior plastics and exterior paint that scratch at the drop of a hat.
Favorite Features
Fuel economy is excellent; car is mechanically very sound.
Suggested Improvements
Eliminate rattles, upgrade bumper quality and paint.
