Toyota Camry Brakes

Lights

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry LE. Recently my dashboard display seemed to be a little dim when I turned on the lights. I went to Autozone and found I had a bad battery. I replaced the battery and when I turned on the lights, they still seemed to be dim. Could it be a bad fuze? Read More...

2004 purchase

Im looking to buy a 2004 Camry XLE 4cyl with 120,000 miles for a decent price. Im having it taken to a Toyota Dealership for an inspection, but is there anything else I should specifically look at that is known about the 2004 models? Or things known to go wry past 100,000. Read More...

2004 Camry -Noise from Stearing

My 2004 camry, When I make turns the stearing mech: makes a strange noise. I had this same problem with my previous 04 camry which I took to a Toyota delar. They wanted to replace the "intermediat shaft" and charge me $ 600.I told them leave it alone. Now I have the same problem with this car. I could hear the noise when I turn the stearing wheel even when the car is parked.I ... Read More...

Toyota Camry Real World MPG

you can rent camrys at a toyota dealer

I go to the dealer to rent camrys. Actually, the last time (aug 2007), they gave me one while they tore my dash apart the last of 6 times trying to find a "creaking" sound that it had from day one to 50,000 miles. Although they failed again to find the source of the "creak" (they tried, including replacing numerous parts and doo-dads, just plain ran out of ideas), it ... Read More...

Camry Mileage Analysis

I personally have taken more than a "gander" at what has been posted here. A few people post frequently about getting extraordinary mpg's in the 30's; most post a few times that don't get anywhere near that. But if you evaluate, as I have, the mpg of unique posters (not multiple posts by an individual) and cull out those who have taken their car on such short trips ... Read More...

2010 Toyota Camry

Re: 2010 Toyota Camry [praz]

No, it should be completely replaced by the 2012 model, but updated for 2010. They almost always make an update by the 4th model year. How "major" it is varies, but is generally a lot more than just new paint colors. The 2010 will be the fourth year of this body style. Look at the 2005 Camry vs the 2002-2004 models. The absolute minimum you can expect is standard VSA ... Read More...

Re: 2006 Hyundai Sonata [aviboy97]

Honda and Toyota are two of the best proven vehicles on the road, no question. Having owned both Honda and Toyota that have had numerous repairs, my 91 Honda Accord 2 starter coils fail and a part in the auto tranny that makes the tranny shift, I forgot what it was called, failed all before 100K. MY 1991 Toyota Celica started blowing blue smoke at 120K, and I replaced ... Read More...

Chevrolet Malibu vs. Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord

Re: Toyota in tight race for No. 1 with GM [elroy5]

Actually, the headliner design, IIRC, is actually different. The stereo issue is unique to 03-04s. I'm not really arguing the fact that you can get relatively perfect 1st year runs and problematic 4th year runs, but statistically, it works the other way around. Your car having a stereo failure just helps prove my point. Toyota's V6 Camry and 5.7L Tundra are other ... Read More...

Would you buy a current generation Camry?

Thanks...

I wasn't posting because i was going to buy a Camry, i was just curious who would still recommend a Toyota. My step-dad owns a 1997 Camry LE 4 cyl(187,000 trouble free miles), my mom bought her 07 camry LE 4cyl in January of 2007 and already has 38,000 miles on it(trouble free with no hesitation) we also own a 2004 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD(72,000 trouble free miles), ... Toyota Camry Fuse and Electrical Questions

Re: 2006 toyota camry electric window [kiawah]

I know from removing it that the first fuse you listed (30 amp Power #1) controls all 4 windows plus the moonroof (if equipped). I had to do this to "initialize" the moonroof in my 2004 Camry (easier than disconnecting the battery). Read More...
