The display does not, and has never, bothered me at night, fog, rain, sleet, snow, etc. over the past 3 years. You can only judge this for yourself, but consider this: if it was a big problem for most people, Toyota would have changed it by now (over 3 years since this generation has been out). I currently have BF Goodrich Traction T/A 94V tires and need to replace the front tires. I can only find the Traction T/A tires in 94T.
