You might try reeducation. Many of the control units learn based upon driving habits. Try unhooking the battery for an hour or so. Then hook up the battery and take the car out and drive it aggressively. Hold the car in first and second with the throttle (this means floor it and hold it there). Bring the car to a stop and do the same thing again. Now drive it aggressively for about 20 miles (interstate and in the country), stop and start as many times as practical. Use the accelerator to kick it into passing gear 4 or 5 times. If your problem is a computer learned problem, this may cure it. Be sure to check your transmission fluid before doing this as you don't want to stress your transmission with a lowfluid level. Good LuckReport it
