After reseraching many convertibles, I decided on the Solara based on my satisfaction with my 2001 Camry which I intended to keep as my work vehicle, however Hurricane Katrina claimed that car. The Solara convertible was so comfortable on the test drive that I knew this is the car I want.
The easy to lower convertible top, the comfortable driver's seat, the radio controls on the steering wheel and the remote trunk opener.
The rear window is too small and I am concerned about safety for this reason. The noise from the passenger side is really loud (sounds like the window is open) and the hesitation on pick up is annoying and according to the dealer, standard for this model.
