2005 Toyota Camry Solara SLE V6 2dr Convertible (3.3L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Smooth, quiet and comfortable. I have owned this car for 7 months. Previous car was a Chrysler Sebring Conv which I owned and drove for 7 years. Solara is far quieter has good interior space including trunk, nice 5-speed auto trans [although I would prefer a stick.] Confidence inspiring brakes...Toyota reliability. Good size fuel tank and excellent highway MPG of about 30.

Best Features

Steering wheel audio controls, heated seats, Toyota build quality and reliability. Excellent turning radius.

Worst Features

1. Body rigidity is inferior to Chrysler. Too much cowl shake and wiggle over bumps. 2. Seatbelts: front should be seat integrated as in Chrysler. Rear belts flap in the breeze. 3. Rear headrests are a visibility problem. 4. Toyota steering has no road feel. 5 Top boot fits poorly bad design
