Solara is even better than my last car,
which was a BMW 325i. Solara was very
reliable. In the last 3 years, the only
thing was that I have to replace all
tires due to my stop & go traffice
every day. A very good car for anyone
who loves performance and value.

41,375 miles on this 5-spd manual now.
The only miscue during our three+ years
was a faulty drivers side electric
window switch (replaced under warranty
at 13500 miles). A recent trip of about
4500 miles resulted in about 31 MPG
overall. The only negative would be the
suspension under hard driving - - which
is less and less of a negative as I age.

We all know of the fun of driving a
convertible in the summer, but heres a
switch. This car is reliable, safe and
fun to drive in the winter also. From
bundling up your kid and having the top
down to put the Christmas tree in the
back seat for the ride home, to the
abs, traction control and low center of
gravity. This car holds the road in ice
and snow better than my suv and pickup.
This is from someone who lives in snowy
New Hampshire.

Wonderful car. I love the fact I can
hang wih BMW's, MB's, Lexii, and not
feel embarassed. Smooth ride, refined
exterior lines, quick punch with a
manual tranny & 200HP engine, and hasn't
given me problems through 51K. No
rattles, thumps, bumps, or left-ward
leaning.

I love the Solara! When I was looking
for cars, I stumbled across the "sporty
Camry" and I was sold. What attracted
me to the car was its sleek design, but
I'm constantly impressed by its
handling. It's quick and surprisingly
quiet. Until I can afford a Lexus or
an Audi, this is definitely the car for
me.
