2010 Toyota Avalon

Re: 2009 Avalon Prices [kq0b1]

I would be surprised to do as well right now. Around here, when you walk through a Toyota dealership, you might see 120 "clunkers" and maybe 60 to 70 new Toyotas. And these are at dealerships that typically had 300 to 400 new Toyotas in stock before the cash for clunkers program. I bought mine right before the program started. Unfortunately, I did not have a gas guzzling ... Read More...

Toyota Avalon Navigation System

Avalon navigation system

I am driving a 2002 XLS and would like to consider the 2010 Limited. I see a large number of complaints regarding the navigation system in the 2009 and earlier models. Does anyone know if Toyota changed the navigation system in the 2010 model? Thanks. Read More...

Re: Avalons Using All-Metal VVTi Lines for How Long? [mylasttoyota1]

Hello, My 2006 with 45,000 miles did the same thing in July while on Vacation. I had it taken on a flat bed tow truck to local dealer in Arkansas. I told them to replace the rubber line with the metal and I would pay the extra cost. But when I went to get it the had replaced with the new fix. The service manager said which was a heavier rubber line. What makes me angry is that ... Read More...

Toyota Avalon 2005-

Re: 2000-2004 vs 2005-2009 [55396]

As one who has owned an Avalon of each generation, let me assure you there are differences each five years. Most things improve because it's a Toyota. But not everything, depending on what you need in a car. The post from *tjc78* is very accurate. The '03 seats were a lot more comfortable on long trips than my '07 Limited seats are. But the power train, gas mileage ... Read More...

Re: 2000-2004 vs 2005-2009 [55396]

I went from an '03 XL to an '06 XLS. The extra size was't a big deal for me. If anything it was a plus. IMO the only thing that the '03 had over the '06 was the seats. They were bigger and more comfortable to me. Other than that the '06 was fantastic, more power with better MPG, slightly better handling (although still soft) and great features. Also, the Toyota 2GR V6 is ... Read More...
