Poor Rear Bumper Design - needs a recall

2012 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

Nice car, but the body panels (specifically the rear bumper) need to be redesigned. (see below). I am already having to replace it before I've even made my first payment, and Toyota is out of the part because it is in high demand because is a common problem with their current design.

after owning this car for two weeks, I came out to my car (at a grocery store) to find the rear bumper had been bumped and was now falling off the car. At first I didn't notice the quarter sized ding from the hit-and-run and just thought that the bumper came loose, but when I went to the dealership the body shop pointed out a small dent from where someone bumped into my new car. Apparently if you get bumped then you need to buy a replacement bumper that costs around $1000 because the bumper is secured by plastic molds that snap in. If it gets bumped then the plastic molds crack and the bumper is ruined. Toyota should redesign the rear bumper and recall all the ones that have been sold
