I bought a 2002 Sequoia early in its second year of production. I was never happy with it's brakes. By reading these forums I found out that the front disks were being replaced free but only if the customer complained. They never did a recall. But the way I read the 2007 4runner owners manual the center diff'l is ALWAYS locked in 4-hi and 4-lo. Additionally it appears there were three driveline options in 2007 and only the multi-mode option included a R/awd functionality. Here what you need to consider before purchasing 4Runner. It starts to rust under the hood in the first 4 months, Toyota says it is rusting from the outside in, so they don't fix it or cover it under warranty. 2Toyotas, "You keep giving the wrong info, and I will keep correcting you. The VF4AM is used on the V6 4Runner and 05 - 07 Sequoia. The VF4BM is used on V8 4Runner and FJ Cruiser with a manual transmission. The 08 Sequoia uses the JF3A transfer case, and the Land Cruiser/LX570 uses the JF2A transfer case. There is a 2007 4Runner Limited demo vehicle with 7700 miles. It is still a "new" car and was used by some Toyota regional manager. It is a Limited V8 with Navigation, Restraint package, X-REAS, moonroof, glass breakage sensor and XM radio. Invoice is $39560. They are offering it to me for $37916 less $2000 incentive = $35,916. Our '08 has a voice recognition button on the lower right of the steering wheel that can be used to input an address while the truck is moving. Seems to work pretty well. Maybe that feature wasn't available on '07s? Also, and this falls into the FWIW category, there's a very good tutorial on the Toyota navigation system on the Toyota website.
