2007 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4dr SUV 4WD (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

I was on my way to buy an Acura RDX, when I drove by the Toyota dealership and remembered the 4Runner. I was love at first glance! Fabulous vehicle, couldn't be happier.

Best Features

The look! It's tough and yet elegant -- perfect blend. Auto headlights, blue tooth, navigation placement with touchscreen. Unbelievably quite ride, even with sunroof open on freeway. Storage area perfect. Interior quality and look, sound system, everything!

Worst Features

Get the cargo net that stands vertically by the lift gate. My stuff always falls out when I lift it. Navigation is not very accurate and doesn't have many POI. Seats are too low for ride position (relation to pedals) and roof is to low. psngr seat has only 4 way adjust. No technology key option.

2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4dr SUV 4WD (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Really nice ride, excellent quality, the only complaint is the brake being too close to the accelerator.

Best Features

Ride, electronic rear hatch closing, style, air conditioning/heater controls excellent, plenty of space.

Worst Features

Move brake pedal over some.

Review

Had this suv for a week now, tows a 3000 lb trailer very easily. Went with the v-8 for this purpose. Ride is good for this type of SUV. Can't wait to drive it in the snow! Wife likes the dual climate control. Auto-dim rearview mirror is nice.

Best Features

Lots of torque! The nav, Bluetooth and rear camera are fantastic.

Worst Features

More comfortable seats. Move the window and door lock swithes. Lighted switches. Better mpg.

2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4dr SUV 4WD (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Looking for an SUV with a little bit of everything; handling, fun to drive, tough, reliable, smart and gorgeous? Look no further.

Best Features

Ride, not excessive with small cute details that won't work after a while, handling, and of course, the look. And it goes almost anywhere, great for car camping!

Worst Features

MPG, but I get 24-25 on road trips. About 20 MPG around town.

Review

This 4Runner has been in the dealership 4 times for steering vibration / flutter / pulsing. The area Toyota technical rep has been working with the dealership to determine and fix the problem. They keep changing and re-road force balancing the tires and nothing works. They tell me that this vibration is normal for the vehicle and they are just tring to get the best set of tires that give the least vibration. It seems that it is not possible for it to be fixed. Toyota quality is not what I thought. An unhappy owner with 2000 miles.

Best Features

Truck looks sharp and can carry what I require.

Worst Features

Resolve steering wheel vibration issue.
