2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5A)
Originally looked at the Highlander, but needed more cargo room. The 4Runner joins my wife's Solara in the driveway because of the quality in her car. The quality and attention to detail is second to none with Toyota. Price was slightly up from the Highlander Limited, but the additional room and selectable 4 wheel drive made it an easy choice.
Only clocked 100 miles so far, but the ride is great, the base sound system is much better than expected, climate control is a nice suprise, the back seats fold completely flat to give you easier loading. Haven't seen a back window roll down since the old station wagon days.. nice idea.
Make accessories available individually instead of packaging. Didn't want the $900 sun roof, but the only way to get a rear spoiler is to take the whole pkg, or add $600 for the $180 spoiler including the install. Get the cost down on GPS. $2K plus for GPS is double the cost of a laptop with GPS.
