2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4dr SUV 4WD (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Enjoy the vehicle more than expected. I bought it as a practical alternative to what I would have preferred (H2). It drives, rides and looks great. Until a recent storm, the black paint was near flawless and immaculate. I receive a lot of compliments about the vehicle and it's appearance. I purchased the V8 and am grateful that I did.
Drive, sound system, quality of workmanship and confidence in the vehicle based on the brand reputation. There is enough character and exterior amenities to set it apart from the rest in it's class. Many assume that it is an Infinity or luxury class.
The transmission can be felt downshifting at times when coming to a stop but nothing significant. The remote allows you to lower the rear window, but not raise it. The key must be inserted for that. Minor gripe.
