2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4dr SUV 4WD (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Everything on this truck feels well-made. Everything is put together with Toyota-solidity. It looks good, it drives well, it's comfortable, it gets a lot of positive remarks, its gas mileage is decent for its size and engine (19mpg-average), and I feel good driving it. Like most SUV's of the past and few today, I feel like I could drive through anything (on- or off-road) and get there safely.
My number one favorite feature is the passing power in the 4.7L V8. When you get it into it's sweet spot, you can pass anything very quickly. The seats are comfortable, but I had to get used to the angle of the steering wheel (it seems to be on a higher-pitched angle than most - now I like it.
The dash looks very similar to the Tacoma. Except for the steering wheel, it doesn't look at all like it's sister, the GX470. The interior is spartan looking. In the dark it's nice looking. In the day time, it's boring. With all the nice details, the dash could be revised. The armrest area is nice.
