This is my 4th Toyota and for the most
part, I've been pleased. Unfortunately
though, at 100K, it is looking like I
may have to replace the transmission.
It is popping out of 3rd and won't go
into 4th. I'm dissappointed in the
quality of this particular Toyota
although I'm the second owner. The rear
window defrost has stopped working.
Other than that, I love my 4runner,
it's gotten me up the hill to
snowboard, hauls all the camping gear,
the kayak, the house stuff, the
friends. It's been my dream car for
Dashboard layout, storage space between
front seats, CD/cassette, all the
additional secret compartment type
storage, 2x4 & 4x4 option (great for
icy city streets & off road trips)
sunroof, all controls are at your
fingertips. Great personal safety items
for women and kids
More engine power, as others mentioned,
you have to really think about passing
anyone and forget hills. Easier to
access spare tire underneath.
