I have a 2002 Suzuki XL-7, and I think ever since I've had it, it had this problem: When I start the car, it feels like the car jumps when I switch gears (it's automatic). After that, it runs fine. I took it to the dealership, and they don't seem to think it's a problem. All they are telling me is ... Read More

So it gets lots of short trips to and from school and day care. Well, we left the satellite radio on one night, and sure enough, dead battery come morning. Since then, no problems. My wife has a 2002 XL7. We have had great luck with it. 20 MPG average, less is the winter. The OEM tires, Bridgestones, were too soft and they wore down way too quick. The dealership replaced them at no charge. The front brakes wear down a little quicker than most cars, but they stop fine. Had to replace an O2 sensor when a trouble light came on. However, I believe that the feature that could set the XL-7 apart from all of the others is the fact that you get a quality Japanese vehicle for the better price. The 2007 is the second XL-7 we own.
