2012 Suzuki SX4 LE 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

I never write reviews but this time i am trying to apprise others about this good car. I have been driving cars from around 14 yrs, driven cars of varied types in multiple cities and multuple countries.
I wanted to buy a new car and took test drive of multiple vehicles including Hyundai, Hondas, Nissans and finally ended up buying Suzuki Sx4 Sedan.
I have this car only for 4 days and i really liked it, its manual drive, It has all the features you need ina car, including 8 airbags. Most importantly, car runs very fast and smooth. Zip and energy in car this car is impressive,
sound system is good. I like the car in and all. currently mileage 30 should certainly improve aftr Iservice

Best Features

Sound system, 6 speed transmission, clutch engages in last few milimeters of release that can improve the energy and zip of car, and may reduce the wearing out of clutch plates, warranty 7 yrs transferable to next owner upon sale of car, 3 yrs road side assistance, interior is spacious and the trunk is really spacious, lot of head roon as my frind driving with me is 6 or more and huge and he was sitting fine in the car. In and all i would certainly recommend this car to people, atleast test drive the manual and you will love it...

Worst Features

try to put some small plastic compartment for storage in between front 2 seats, same way storage compartment on dash board like few other cars, storage under the front passger seat, seat height should adjust to up and down for any small height people and Please start more advertisement, as thats the key for many people, and increase the dealer network of your car. Lastly, trunk release from car key may help a few people.

2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover 4dr Hatchback AWD (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

The SX4 is a great all around general purpose vehicle, especially the Crossover.
This car is heavy, solid, and handles great when driving around twisty back roads.
Suzuki is biased towards building great handling cars rather then simply ones that accelerate fast.
The SX4 Crossover is NOT an economy car.
It easily weighs over 3000 with a driver and full tank of fuel.
This is a vehicle that tries to do everything well and succeeds.
Some cars just do one thing well, like a Prius getting great mileage or a Wrangler being good in the middle of the woods.
You will get fed up with that when you need a car that does something else.
The SX4 is that very car, and a reliable one.

Best Features

The 6-speed is one of the best shifting manuals I've ever driven. Even if you can't drive a stick, take lessons and then go out and drive a 6 speed crossover. The standard radio has a CD player and an aux. input jack. Therefore, you can play anything from your phone or iPod. There is decent aftermarket support for SX4 owners out there. Even a lift kit for the Crossover is offered. The lights, windshield wipers and commonly replaced parts are common and easy to find at Walmart or your local car parts store. There aren't any "exotic" expensive parts that have to come all the way from Japan that you need just to keep the car on the road. I love the foglights!!

Worst Features

The oil filter is VERY hard to remove. You must take off the antifreeze overflow container and the cooling fan before you can remove the oil filter. This requires unplugging the fan, which takes all of 1/2 a second and removing the 4 10mm bolts holding it in. You need a slip profile socket wrench and a drill bit style 10mm socket to do this. (VIM tools makes this item) The fan should be a slim profile one that allows for the filter to unscrew and come straight out. The windshield wipers are too short. The back wiper should be 13" or 14", not 10". The front driver's one should be 28", not 26". Part of the windshield is not covered, but they are easily changed no problem.

2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover 4dr Hatchback AWD w/Technology Pkg (2.0L 4cyl CVT)

Review

We own two 2011 Suxuki SX4 Crossovers, one with CVT, the other with the manual transmission.
Both are worthy performers in both dry and inclimate weather.
I've done several 600 mile days in both cars and found them more comfortable than many full size cars.
I particularly appreciate the i4wd system which allows for either 2wd or 4wd operation.
In snow deeper than the rocker panels I had no problem with traction, steering, or braking.
Both cars are averaging well over 28 MPG in town, which is quite a bit higher than the EPA estimated mileage.

Best Features

I particularly like the i4wd (Intelligent 4 wheel drive) system, which is easy to use and intuitive. There are adequate cup and bottle holders for drinks on those long trips. I also purchased the optional cargo floor which raises the cargo deck to the level of the folded back seats and also gives more underfloor storage. This is a simple option, but one that makes a great deal of sense.

Worst Features

I would like a console mounted 12v auxiliary outlet in addition to the panel mounted outlet.
