Reliable!!!
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I went from owning a Grand Prix to purchasing this vehicle. The gas mileage is good but could be better! Compared to a honda civic, This vehicle is more comfortable and roomy. I have not had any starting problems with the vehicle other than the time that it didn't have gas. its starts every time in the -30 degree weather we get in chicago! Up til now I'm recently having an issue with the transmission, hope its nothing serious!
Favorite Features
heated side mirrors, integrated antenna, mp3 stereo.
Suggested Improvements
standard cruise control, a transmission dip-stick to check the fluid level, and easier access to changing the headlight bulbs!
Battery Problems & Transmission Censor
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I have had my car since 2006 and it has been problem after problem. First my Transmission censor went out which cost me roughly $200.00 dollars. The transmission is still skipping sometimes when I drive. Now the batter will not keep a charge. I have had everything check thoroughly and the watts on my alternator, starter are good. Replaced the batter and the card still have problems. I have checked and there is no recalls on this car for major things such as this.
Favorite Features
NONE
Suggested Improvements
Fix the cars!!!! Improve the electrical system, censors, better transmissions, motors.

Lousy
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
Fuel economy turned out to be lousy. Companies say 21 MPG in the city. That might be the one they tested. But the one I had only 17 MPG in the city. Going city to city was 19 MPG. Facts are facts. That's why I got rid of it.
Favorite Features
Don't know much about cars. It wasn't all that comfortable. I have a bad back. Overall, it looked nice, but that was surface only.
Suggested Improvements
Too late to make improvements on a model that has already been taken out of production for 2006.
So unreliable it is scary

Review
I bought the car a little over a month ago. About two to three weeks after I bought the car, I went into the store for groceries and came back out to have the car not start at all. When I turned the key, the car didn't even make a sound like it was trying to turn over. Had to get car jumped. Bought new battery thinking that was the problem. Hours later I went out for something and it did it again. Had car into dealership the next day and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I traded in a Ford Escort for this. I miss my old car. I drive with a jump box now and have to use it to start the car sometimes. I'm scared I'll get stranded somewhere.
Favorite Features
cd player (although that sometimes will stop working too)
Suggested Improvements
I have no idea where to begin. Maybe discontinue the car? I regret buying mine. Car seems to have the not starting/dead battery-like problem when it's over 80+ degrees and I use the a/c. I'm really scared to drive it. Lots of problems with it not starting.

2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
Bought new- after I "got to know" the vehicle I really like it-- its made several long trips-- I've only changed the oil and replaced tires and a couple of headlights-approching 100,000 miles in a week or so-- when its time to replace I will buy another- it looks ok too-- Wish it were rated as a safe vehicle- Thats somewhat of a concern- but all in all very well pleased.

Drive for a living
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 5M)
Review
I drive for a living 300 miles a day in my forenza. Yes I had to change the selt belt but that was free. Other then normal required maintance; my car has been perfect. Gas mileage is great for the size of the car since I fill up the tank everyday. Although the tires come in one size; you can actually have one size bigger put on and its been cheaper and has gotten better gas mileage. For someone who drives for a living; it has been a great vechile.
Favorite Features
Interior size
Suggested Improvements
The turning radius of the vechile is short; and the powerstirring pump needs improvment.

WARNING: WORST CAR EVER OWNED!
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza Premium 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
I have had this car less the three years and have had over 8 major problems! Everything brakes all the time and not the regular ware and tare. The gas tank had problems, the windshield montior already went, door handle broke, the rims crack if you hit a pothole and the check engine light is always on due to default censors. Plus the dealers, service dept. and customer serivce are uncaring and unhelpful.
Favorite Features
NONE, worst car!!!!
Suggested Improvements
The speakers blew after too weeks! The warrentey that they pride themselfs on his horrible! I had to pay $100 (on lease) for them to tell me my windshield wipers didnt work, DUH thats why i brought it there!

Suzuki Costumer
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 5M)
Review
This car has a lot of complaints and I don't think that they are necessary. It's a $13000 car, what do you expect, a tuned engine from BMW and Mercedes and Audi? This car is not built well but should last you a good 3 years. I don't like the gas mileage but it is a great upgrade from a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 14mpg city 17mpg highway so I think it is a good car, even though it won't last you 10 years like a Camry. I would consider it if you are looking for a good used car.
Favorite Features
Speed and roomy. Big cargo space. Stylish. Cheap!
Suggested Improvements
Gas mileage 27.8 highway compared to a Corolla 32.4 highway

Overall Disappointment
Vehicle
2006 Suzuki Forenza 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)
Review
When I first got my Forenza I absolutely loved it, the styling and ride were seemingly above class. I purchased it used with 6,000 miles on it. Then, when it hit 20k miles, there was a problem with the brakes and it wouldn't go into gear. Needless to say, the brakes are only covered to 12k miles. Now, the door handle fell off, my speedometer is off by 5+ mph depending on your intended speed, a valve gasket is blown, and the power steering pump needs to be replaced. It only has 33k miles on it! This shouldn't happen, and while the warranty covers it, I'm still disappointed that I spent 10k on this when I could have bought a different make and had less problems.
Favorite Features
Interior styling, handling, sporty feel. I love the roomy interior, and the pull down cup holders in the back seat. Plenty of trunk space, and I get better fuel economy than estimated (30-33 mpg mixed driving).
Suggested Improvements
Don't sacrifice quality for better looking. The interior and exterior look nice, but if the car doesn't run, a pretty look doesn't do me a darn bit of good. I won't ever buy another Suzuki or recommend them to anyone.
