Suzuki Aerio Maintenance and Repair
Good News For A Change
Well, as most of you probably already know, Suzuki dealships are dropping like flies. I purchased a new Aerio Premium 2 wheel drive in 2005. It has been a good little car and currently has a little north of 68,000 miles on it. A couple of little zingers but after a lot of urging on my part, the dealer took care of them. When I took it back to the local dealer because one ... Read More...
SUZUKI AERIO WAGON SX
I have a 2005 Suzuki Aerio Wagon SX. I notice that the 1st half of the tank on the gage goes down extremelly fast. at around 100 miles my car's gas tank gage comes down to 1/2. Then, it will give me around 190 miles for the rest of the tank. I was concerned because I have never seen this before on any car and I am also thinking that I may have a leak. Can somebody provide me with ... Read More...

Re: Suzuki Aerio Engine Problems [mesx]
Tks for taking the time to post your '05 Aerio history! We too were initially impressed with our 2005 Aerio AWD, purchased new from CT showroom in Aug 05. Drove it (very carefully, following all break in procedures) from CT to FL where it is being used by our daughter. She now says it is a piece of junk! (She drove a '96 Audi A4 quattro prior, so we knew there'd be no comparison, ... Read More...
Re: Suzuki Aerio Engine Problems [aeriofallingap]
I bought a 2005 Aerio AWD from Brantford Suzuki ..... while I was initially impressed with the service I received , as I continually brought it back for repairs, it was eventually replaced by extreme disappointment and disgust in Suzuki. I had the following happen in 15 mnths of ownership and 27,000 kms -front sway bar bushings fell out 4 times before finally getting ... Read More...
Re: 2005 AERIO ORDEALS [mattb4]
Tks! I am still waiting to hear from Suzuki now that the original dealer who sold me the car last year is involved. He is the only one trying to help. Suzuki in Miami and the 800 toll free customer service is intent on blaming me for not checking to make sure tires were rotated during the 7500 mi servicing which was under the new car warranty! This is just unreal to me! ... Read More...
Re: 2005 AERIO ORDEALS [lynnster2]
I found out a possible solution to the rear tire problem. The original tires went bald after 10,000 miles and I replace them with BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires which I had on my Focus. I think they are great tires. When I went to have them rotated (with only 10,000 miles on them)the tech told me that they were worn on the outside edges and they may have "bad belts". When ... Re: OEM tire replacement problems? [carthell]
Well, can't say yet as just put 4 new, wider tires on our 2005 AWD Aerio auto. Both rear tires completely bald at 14K and car is less than a year old, so we are faring worse than you did! Our OEM tires were also Yokahama's G046 1955515's. Had to get 2 tires to replace the rear OEM's and decided to replace all 4 as tire place said front tires were about to go as well. Suzuki ... Re: What a piece of junk!!!!! [amentzriona]
Re the TSB - pls tell me more as I just had flat on my AWD 2005 Aerio and being told my bald rear tires are not due to problem with the car. I don't believe them and am getting frightened about all the others with same problem. Is your car auto or manual? Ours is auto AWD. 2005 with 14K miles. Bought new in Aug 2005. Suzuki won't even tell me what the TSB is about after I gave ... Read More...
Re: 2006 Suzuki Aerio [bwood2]
Same problem as you but Suzuki blaming us for bald rear tires on new car bought in Aug 2005. Only noticed at 14K due to flat rear tire. There is a bulletin about the rear tire wear but Suzuki gets to decide which cars they will fix. Sounds like you got a bit of help then nothing. I got no help at all this week when we got the flat and they will do nothing! Class action will have ... Read More...
Re: What a piece of junk!!!!! [mesx]
I brought a 2005 Suzuki Aerio AWD last year as well. I have around 10k miles on it and it runs beautifully. The only hitch I had was that my dealership said that there were a tsb out regarding the viscious coupling & the camber (too much to the negative range) for the rear tires. They fixed it under warranty. And that's probably why I don't have the tires problem as you ... Read More...
