I previously owned Toyota, and was very hesitant to go away from a brand I have loved so much.
However...once I decided to test drive a Subaru, I was in love!
I was looking for something practical, yet stylish, and found what I was looking for in the outback.
My family loves the outdoors, camping, etc., and we often move large items.
The outback provides enough space to haul loads when you need to, or take the family on a camping trip as well.
We love this car and will tell all of our friends and family as well!
for the past 18,000 miles, i have been bouncing off the center line and fog line. back and forth, trying to keep the car between the lines. If I was the only person complaining, i would think its all in my head, but like other people on here, it is a major complaint. The car will NOT go straight down the road like my 99 mercury tracer did. I want my 99 mercury tracer back. Seriously, this steering problem is beginning to piss me off. I am almost certain that the Subaru company knows this is a real problem, but they aren't going to admit it. I took the car to the Salem Oregon dealer and told them I was having problems steering. They said they would look at it and an hour later, they just shrugged their shoulders. You actually have to drive it down the highway to fully understand how hard it is to steer. I'll just say it. I paid $32,000 for a lemon. If I thought I could sue the Subaru company for the trouble and my money back, I would. Subaru, you sold me a lemon and now its time to fix the car or give me my money!
$32,000 of disappointment!
with much regret,
