This is my third Subaru Legacy Wagon. I opted for all the features except the turbo and couldn't be happier with my choice. 87 Octane gas yielded 30mpg hwy over 380 miles on my last road trip. Acceleration is more than adequate and the manual shift feature allows for passing when needed. The seats provide a comfortable driving position for extended periods. The cabin is spacious -- made more so by light from the giant sunroof -- and also very quiet at highway speeds. the steering is well weighted -- the car feels nimble and lighter than it is. Overall this car provides comfortable and economical transportation with a host of features and quality thats unmatched for the money.
1) Monster sunroof - it matters, even when it's not open. It brightens the whole car and that makes it very worth the money. 2) Fuel efficiency. 3) Leather three spoke wheel 4) Winter features: heated seats, heated mirrors and wipers. 5) Looks. 17 inch rims, dual exhausts ... car looks great.
1) Audio input jack for stereo. This is too important and cheap for manufacturers to be forgetting. Nonetheless, the 6 disc player sounds good. I will add the Subaru subwoofer soon. 2) Tires seem to have a soft sidewall. A small upgrade in this department would improve handling a lot.
